@teachgrd3 This has been commented on before. It's not attractive for a host to stand in a lazy stance. Correct posture is important and enhances whatever they are wearing. That was the meaning of your post, if I read it correctly.
We were taught at a very young age to stand correctly and with proper posture. In my teens, I modeled and again was taught to sit, stand and walk correctly. (I alrealy knew, but paid attention while the others were taught; never hurts to be reminded!)
I'm in agreement with you. Lousy posture and incorrect foot placement is distracting to me, too, as a viewer.

The hosts want the customers to talk about them and I have a feeling they could care less if it's positive or negative. I would think in the case of the pigeon toe stance that it would be called to their attention by the producer, so they could correct it. I thought they were supposed to be highly paid sales/actor professionals.

A producer would most likely not tell a host how to act. That should come from another source.
I think the legs crossed like you have to pee pose is even worse.

Whether you agree with the OP or not, she still has an opinion and the right to post her opinion on this forum.

I was a cashier for years. I never went pigeon toed.
@alarmclock Lucky you! Maybe you have perfect legs. I'm very knock kneed and my toes turn outward.

All the years I have watched and never once even noticed some of the goofy things some posters here do. It really doesn't matter to me as I watch for the product and not details of hosts or vendors!!! Judging from the responses to such posts, I would also think that the majority of posters here don't notice either!

I agree with the OP....is it silly? Maybe it is, but I've noticed the same thing and it bugs me. Maybe it also has to do with the way some hosts play to the cameras, but it sure doesn't look professional, assuming the host doesn't have a physical issue. Some of them used to stand and cross their legs - now some of them stand pigeon-toed - I guess that's the new "thing". The OP and anyone else sure has the right to express her opinion here!

I agree with the OP and others here regarding poor posture. It also bothers me when certain hosts seem to always be leaning on something during presentations. It's like they can't stand up straight!

My legs are not perfect.
My post was in response to a post about prolonged standing.
Glad I could fine tune that for you.

@alarmclock I stood for hours each day in heels for 20 years working a customer service counter.
If I could find relief, by standing any different way, I did so.
