I ordered 2 tops that were Denim & Co. and sent them back because they had spandex in them which I now know I hate!!  So therefore time and money lost on 2 tops that were really cute!!! Casual everyday clothes don't need spandex and others complain when tops don't have it.  You have to have a figure like a stick for them to look right!!  They cling to any nook or cranny and clothes look terrible like that.  The same size looks fine without SPANDEX!!  Costly learning experience!!

I had posted that I would never again order Breezies.  Well, the TSV came and I thought they were so pretty, etc. I ordered  two sets.   The fit was too large and the fabric seemed too scratchy.  I decided to return them a few days before the time was up.  I think it will cost me around $13.   ($3.00 shipping on each set plus their label $6.95)  Never again.  Also re: using their label or not.  Last year  I returned a lipstick at the post office and it cost around $5.00 or more--in a padded envelope, not a box.  So Breezies would have been more and I would have had to drive to the post office and wait.

There are plenty of places that offer free shipping and returns on shoes.   I Know one thing , someone is buying clothes.  It seems that is all I see anymore.  That is what turned me off to HSN years ago.  I can buy clothes much cheaper locally then on here.

Shoesdotcom is one of my favorites.  Free shipping.  There is no return fee if you exchange but they do charge if you return for a refund.   I usually just need a different size or color so i haven't paid any fees.

I won't pay to just try on a piece of clothing! I only buy from sites that provide free shipping and returns (ie. Von Maur). I do 95% of my clothes shopiing in my local boutiques now that I moved away from my usual department stores. I am the rare type that likes to see, feel, try on the clothes that I buy.

Oh I agree,  I have been buying from them for several years.   They run great sales also.   I have seen shoes on the Q and went to their site and bought them sometimes for 30.00 less.

The only response you will get from me is the excellent post you made. Sometimes it takes seeing info. in print like you did with the calculations to make us sometimes really stop and think how much we are being ripped off, and the money we are losing.  Excellent post!!              bamasec

I have never returned something unless it was damaged.  They pay for the shipping.  Their fault- not mine. I am careful about shipping costs wherever I buy. Usually I find coupons or deals for free shipping and it is not on QVC.

Has anyone noticed that for a while, QVC had free shipping? And now they're back up to $3.00, no matter what the item is.

Also, they're offering $3.00 off on certain items -- I think it's a "buy more, save more" situation -- but charging $3.00 for shipping.

Do they think we're so dumb we don't notice? or that we can't do arithmatic? And I'm sure that when they offer "free" shipping, the cost of shipping is added the price of the product?

Sheesh!

Duh. The ridiculous price just to try something on is one of many reasons why I buy very little from the Q. Also, sizing can be inconsistent, which necessitates some costly returns. I have bought two colors of the same pants or top in the past, only to find that one fits and the other doesn’t! So much for quality. I just sent my mother a pair of shoes from qvc in the same brand and style that she likes, and they were noticeably narrower than her others. Cost me around $10 just to send them to her and have her return them.
