I can't figure out why anyone would want an outerwear garment with no pockets.

I don't use my pockets for tissues.

Re: Please Quit With the Side Pockets

@Jacie .  Sorry but I like the pockets in my tops, pants and of course winter coat.  But I do understand your frustration.  My disappointment is when I See a top or cardi I want to buy but it has no collar.  Now I won,t even buy it without a collar.

For me, I can't stand designers putting pockets in all the pants esp loungewear pants. Pockets look horrible (IMO) on dresses and dressier pants. If you are at work or a nicer event, are you really bulging your pockets out by putting stuff in them? Highly doubt it. I"m also tired of the hosts and vendors acting like they can't even walk around their houses without being attached to their phones and needing a place to put them in their PJ's. Often, I'm interested in a piece of clothing and as soon as I see the pockets, I'm out. On JEANS or something like that, yes, but most other things it's a NO BUY for myself.

Oh good grief .......  seriously?

NO ONE is saying you MUST put things in yout pockets.

Pockets are a functional item often used in real life.  They are not "horrible".
