Please Quit With the Side Pockets

Yup, it's a first world problem.....

I was going to order a cute 1/2 zip fleece recently. I stopped my order when I realized here was yet another cute top that had  "slit pockets". Please, get some clothing without these things!

Do you honestly think we are all running around with runny noses? needing to "put a tissue in the pocket"?

From Kim Gravel, Joan Rivers, Denim and Company and I could go on, all seem to think this is some kind of necessity! Please stop adding these darned pockets to every garment!

To each his (or her) own.

I don't buy anything like that without pockets. 🤷‍♀️

Bah humbug!  I want all jackets, sweaters, etc. to have

big pockets. Won't order a cardigan unless it has at least side pockets prefer those deep pockets.

Handy.

Fine with me to have variety . Some pockets after laundering  don't lay flat .Many items I do prefer pockets .

I am sick of the " singing " and  "dancing " by the Hosts and Rep's  abt  a garment having pockets .

Quit with all the sing song  talk altogether .

I also don't like pockets on tops.  I seldom use them.

Anything that acts as a jacket, whether it be zip-up, button-up, or 1/2 zip pullover, IMO, should have pockets.  The cardigans I wear, which have no closure, I don't want pockets on.  But, vive la difference.

Re: Please Quit With the Side Pockets

I'm fine with (and often want) pockets on items that are likely to serve as outerware at times, such as fleece tops and sweatshirts. I absolutely don't understand them on items such as blouses—who needs to store things in a blouse? Do people really put things in those pockets where they would be so bulky and noticeable? It's already unattractive that the seaming for the pockets is so visible and distracts from what would otherwise be a nice, polished look.

(And as a side note, I absolutely hate chest pockets on all tops. I have never met a woman who would use them and they never look good.)
