Re: Petite Length

@Sakuya Depends on the style. I wear petite and my perfect inseam is 26.5 but 27 is ok for me too. The classic pants that have been around for ages always have had the perfect inseam for me.

I've seen some D&C styles that have a petite inseam of 28 which is just stupid.

@Love my grandkids     A petite inseam of 28 inches is not stupid for me.   In fact,  I am 5'1" tall and I need a petite inseam of 28 or 29.

Re: Petite Length

I am 5'1" tall.  Sometimes petite pants are too long.

I buy my jeans and pants from Appleseeds.  They sell petite length and short petite length for those who need the inseams even shorter.

I buy both lengths.  I wear the petite short ( 26") with flat shoes and the petites (28") with heels. Both sizes have a shorter rise, so they are proportioned correctly.

I feel frustrated and ignored when QVC offers petite lengths that ignoes those of us who are short and does not want to or can,t wear high heels especially with pants.  Please let the designers know they need to offer shorter lengths for real women who can't/don't want to wear heels.

I  need petite pants with a 28 or 29 inch inseam.   27 and 27 1/2 would be too short for me.

I don't consider 28 or 29 inch pants petite.

Same here.  I'm 5'1" and wear 28" inseam for wide legs or a boot cut but for a narrow leg I can wear 26"

The thing that I find frustrating are tops!  Long sleeves are always too long.  It depends on the top but many times I will have the sleeves shortened or I can cuff them.  If I can't do either depending on the fabric, back it goes!  The same for the length.  I don't like a long tunic top anymore.

It depends on the manufacturer.  That's why I'm obsessed with checking the lengths when I shop online.  I'm a petite.  27 or 27.5 work best for me.  26 is too short for a full length pant.  I was online once and the store called 29" pants petite.  Crazy indeed.

I remember when Susan Graver first came out with liquid knit and the petite length was perfect for me at 27" for a heel sometimes even 26 1/2" which are perfect for flat shoes . Not so hard in the warmer months if longer as I usually wear a heeled sandal , winter though is an issue if I wear flat boots like a Skechers.  Now her pants are more 27 1/2 -28".  I'm 5'2".

denim and co's petite is way too long in boot cuts especially which are 28". I have to wear a heel always .

Men have it made.  They can walk into a store and buy the exact waist and inseam measurement they need.  Too bad they can't do something like that for womens.

It is what it is!!!
