There's a new article from Retail Dive about how and what Qurate, QVC, and HSN are doing during the pandemic.

It makes for interesting reading and can help explain some of the shipping and return delays as well as the changes in studio programming and studio/remote presentations by hosts and vendors.

@TY  Thank you for this thread! Like you, I found it to be a VERY interesting article. I think it's safe to say things will never go back to the way they were, and that the growing pains they are currently experiencing will ultimately result in a permanently streamlined process. 

Although it was published today, it mistakenly asserts that the return process has been extended from 30 to 90 days, so the author must not have reexamined the facts lately, as the returns window is once again 30 days. (unless it changed again)😁

I look forward to seeing what the future has in store, having witnessed and enjoyed the evolution of The Q.😊

Thanks for posting this. I thought it offered good background info. Interesting comment about purposely leaving returns on the trucks once they arrive at the returns centers.

It appears to be a press release from Q to pat itself on the back.

Nothing but the obvious about streaming the whole world is doing it.

Sounds, at least in part, like vintage Q spin... George has a talent for overestimating how much the Q customers love what they're doing and how gifted they are at giving their customers what they want and need...

this does look like a press release. they have "streamlined" the presentations with fewer models, which is understandable with the need to social distance, but i hope they return to several models when it is safe.
