I was just exploring the feature that allows forum readers to drop down the "Community" menu, enter a poster's nickname, and see some of what that person has posted, plus other information about hearts received or given, etc.
Much to my surprise, the list of "recent original posts" supposedly written by ME were actually authored by a totally different forum user. All three posts (authored by someone who goes by the nickname of "dalimama") pertain to WEN hair products---something I know nothing about and certainly wouldn't write about.
Now I can't help but wonder who has MY posts listed under his/her name??????
Maybe all users should check on their list of recent original posts and determine whether it is anywhere near correct.
FYI***QVC has fixed this bug and this will no longer happen.
Thanks!

Identity theft even without the financial gain for the thief. Man I wonder what that persons reason is for stealing your nic and reputation?
Keep us posted if you get anymore info. about this and if it can be stopped.

Well, thanks for the advice, but this is a new problem that just cropped up today and did not exist last time I performed the same operation.
I do notice that when I try to open those wrongly attributed posts, I get a red-colored notice that "an error has occurred." Today's experience is just simply bizarre, as my actual original posts did not appear. Wonder where they went?
My apologies to any poor soul who might unknowingly be held responsible for anything I said in my posts. (heh!)

Yeah, there's something weird going on. I am seeing the same posts on my profile page, too.
However, when I enter my user name in the search field and switch Community to Users, only my correct posts show up. It's something wrong with the Profile page and hopefully it will be fixed, soon,

That happened to me when they first changed these forums last month or whenever they did.
So many of the posts were not mine but under my name.
It was so strange to read posts that sounded nothing like me or anything I would have written or been interested in, like "Where is so and so host?"
I emailed QVC and from what I remember it was some explanation that didn't solve anything.
I think in trying to get us to be sble to read our own posts, they have just messed up in putting the right posts with the right people!!
Just another" wonderful" thing with this new change.
