Do we have Macy's? Oh honey, it's about the only mid-range department store left in the Nation's Qwapitol and we have plenty of them... And, as much as I appreciate your bringing to my attention yet ANOTHER opportunity to lead with the bag, I've done some serious, serious bag damage lately and so I'm going to have to pass this one up...
As for the other thing, well, what can I say. I don't even follow who the Bullets, uh, I mean the Wizards... are playing, though I guess they're not quite the regional embarrassment they have been for the past few years... so while your team might be in town, sorry to say I won't be entertaining them personally... I am, however, following some of the college teams, since my own team from the University of Virginia is having a better year than usual... Certainly better than their football team. Talk about regional embarrassments...
Stevie....WOW!!! That was some game between the Spurs vs Wizards....Spurs were BEHIND by 17....they finally showed up in the second half thanks to Tim Duncan, Danny Green....and my favorite, Patty Mills the Aussie......it ended up going to DOUBLE OVERTIME!!!!....WHEW!!!! I was exhausted. .....But since everyone was so exhausted when we played against Brooklyn Coach Pop gave what appeared to be the rest of our starters a rest--Timmy reason "old"....Boris Diaw....food poisoning.....
Tony...back injury....so we get smeared by the Nets....and this was a national TV game....I sense a fine coming for not playing our starters.....
But that is something I should be celebrating....Commish Mel Torme (he looks just like him) aka David Stern has RETIRED....YEAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
Yes the hater of small market teams is gone....

I saw a guy in the hallway today at work wearing a Spurs cap... Glad you enjoyed the game, but personally, I didn't even know when they played!
I'll leave that horsey purse for KS... Not that it looks like it, but it still puts me in mind of the Lucy episode where Fred and Ricky buy Lucy and Ethel 'couture' clothes made out of a horse's feedbag, an ice bucket and burlap... Jacques Marcel, I think it was...
Stevie....I think there was a migration from the Lone Star State to the Nations Qwapitol.....there were so many Spur fans there it was like a home game with fans lining up with their Spurs gear to high five the team as they went out for warmups.....very curious because we are not one of the high profile big market teams the NBA seems to market....guess those knowledgeable fans know class and appreciate real basketball and good team work....
Oh, that kind of reminds me of a Sharif bag they used to have on the other channel.
Hey, I lead with the bag to keep all the students from running into me while they are texting - they leave class and the phones come out and they all start texting.
Now KS.....I hope you dont think I was making fun of the horse bag.....I just know your love for them and if you want to have it on a bag to show it be my guest....but I know that would get Stevie's goat since she is a Hampton's girl all the way and a member of "the ladies that lunch" that Lisa always talks about....
BTW they showed a group of folks that do a trail ride all the way from Mexico to come to our Rodeo.....but the temperatures have been quite cold so they showed all the horses wearing their blankets.....the trailriders even brought their dogs who were wearing sweaters....Beautiful, Beautiful horses.....
Oh yes....THE CELL PHONE ZOMBIES that are too busy staring at their phones or texting and dont pay attention to where they are going or run into you, or walls etc.....PLEASE hit them over the head with your bag to knock some sense into them.....
Hey SPURT, I did not in the slightest way think you were making fun of the horsey bag! My boss laughs at me and shakes his head because I have a horse neoprene case for my NOOK, I have birkenstock green horse sandals AND clogs, horse sweaters, horse calendar, key chains, horse pins, earrings and necklaces and bracelets (several piece from early QVC Joseph Esposito - really high quality sterling), horse lunch bag, horse tea mug, horse pictures on my walls, horse umbrella....etc. You get the picture.....
I do throw in a few black Lab things, as well.
I once went on a trail ride with a friend to a local Nature Conservancy spot, took lunch and ate it by a little waterfall. 
The ride took 9 hours round trip - I could not walk the next day. 
Wouldn't you know it but I did the same thing the next weekend??!! It was cooler and I felt better the next day.
And we get warnings to watch for students texting or on the phone while crossing the street or driving. They pay absolutely no attention to what is going on around them. A co-workers son went to school at another state college and a girl at that college lost a leg because she walked out in front of a car when she was texting and was hit.
I would really like to get a nice bag one of these days, but I look at the prices and think of how many bales of hay I could buy with that money!
Sigh.....but I do love my horses.
They get new shoes before I do.
The Dooney bags look nice but they all seem to be so big! I do have an all weather leather vintage equestrian Dooney in green and tan that I paid $17 for including shipping off ebay. It has the opposite problem as it is a tad too small. And it does check out as authentic. And it was made in USA. Why are they so expensive when they are now made in China?
HEY KS----why are pet/horse products so expensive.....my sister said her cat is going to need to find a job....
PSSST....don't tell Stevie but I found a very nice bag with GREAT organization on sale at JCP for $25.....certainly not up to Stevie and her Hampton's

Don't get me started on the cell phone zombies... It's a national epidemic, impacting all ages, it seems... Next time one of them walks into me with that glazed look in their eyes, I think I'm literally going to push them off me... They're ridiculous... How much is there to say and can't they wait to say it!?

As KS knows, I do love to ride, but, well, in keeping with my image in the Hamptons and up in Bar Harbor and locally here in Middleburg, I'm afraid it really has to be more of a 'club' type thing... I'll save my lassos for other times... and sorry, but no spurs... under any circumstances. Someone could get hurt!

Too Late! I've started my own line and plan to compete with Whirly and the Bag Lady... Moms is offering me my own show! I'm thrilled! I do SO hope I can have The Marm and that man of mine hosting with me soon! Now, I just need to come up with a catchy name...
I love that episode of Lucy too... but then I loved almost all of them, though there were a few that didn't do much for me... and yes, I do simply adore Ethel's bag... Hmmmm... and I'd been so successful this weekend too... Didn't order a thing from the Dooney shows, but this might be too much to pass up...
Sadly, when I lead with my bag in checkout lines, the person in front of me usually gives me the evil eye when I accidentally ram them in their posterior. No kidding.
I do it on purpose... Especially if they're taking too long chatting with the clerk or getting out checks, convenience cards and coupons (I mean what IS it with people that wait until the bitter end to prepare to pay for their purchases, anyway...?). When they glare at me, I smile sweetly and feign chagrin. If that initial glare is too hateful, I haughtily glare right back at them and they almost always smile or they turn back around without so much as a word... Either way, they move on, which, of course, is my goal...

This morning I watched the episode where she saw William Holden in the Brown Derby - totally hilarious when he rested his head on the divider and stared at her while she tried to eat her spaghetti.

There website stinks they dont have any of the cute purses I saw in their shop online...but they show a purse with a horse for KS.....
It looks, Spurt, like they sell several brands, like Anuschka and American West (I love their stuff, also sold on SHQ) that are sold at retail at a number of places (the Q used to sell Anuschka) but I'm guessing the cute bags you see at the shop are maybe of their own design...?
Thinking I'll leave the, uh, 'conceal and carry' number for those of you down in Texas or maybe for the folks out in Colorado...
Though Virginia is a pretty big gun state, I'm afraid if I had one, I'd leave my side arm at home most of the time.
Although the way traffic is around here most of the time, a bazooka is tempting...

Sadly after the school shootings.....more of all people TEACHERS are taking gun lessons here......its turning into the REAL old west Im afraid...
As for the leather store, ....I didnt even realize that the leather folks even had 5 stores around the country....and I think your right....the bags they did not show on the website were either their own, or perhaps they added from some additional vendors that the other stores dont carry....but I wish you could seem them....real beauties....
And yes Im surprised there are not a lot of shootings on the highways and byways due to shall we say "creative driving".....

One of my favorite Lucy's was when she went fox hunting when they were in England. Fred tried to give her a boost onto the horse, and he boosted her over the other side, and amazingly she landed on her feet! I would have been eating dirt. She was the queen of physical comedy!
