Did anyone notice that they are now staying live until 3am EST instead of 2am EST?

I know it's not much, but it's something lol

Not sure if this is just through the holidays or not though, probably so if I had to guess.  I guess time will tell!

Re: Overnight Programming

I haven't noticed because I am sleeping during those hours.  It's not HBO, QVC isn't an entertainment channel.  I imagine they are still researching the profitability of 24 hour programming.  Trying to determine when  people buy and when people just use them for a nightlight.

@BrandiDavis   They may have noticed a drop in sales during those hours to night owls and figured some new shows might spark interest. It's all about the dollar.

All day, all night...matters little to me because I rarely watch QVC now.  I find the programs annoying, items repeated so often I want to scream.  When an hour show has three to six items I just lose interest...especially with these yapping hosts...egad!  For me QVC could just be online with a brief video presentation.

@ShanusOf course it is all about the dollar -  but it's all about the dollar from the customer side also.  Every hour of every day I sign into the Forums there's a post ranting that QVC's prices are too high, that their shipping is costly, etc.  That's all about the dollar, too. Just depends whose side you're on as to what is correct.  I suspect it's like so many things in this life -  both are, but what counts for each of us is which side of the tug rope we're trying to control.

@millieshops   Of course, I can't control what Q does, but I can control my not purchasing in protest.

@millieshops   Judging from reading posts here, complaints about pricing, shipping, or programming, people are still watching and purchasing. Why should Q change anything?

@ShanusI'm not displeased with much of anything QVC seems to be doing.  For some reason, none of my orders so far have gotten caught in the shipping issues and for what I buy from QVC, I have no pricing complaints.

I don't buy as much from them as I used to, but I'm no where near zero as I've been at Nordstrom and Macys for the last few years.  I'm a b & m clothes shopper by preference, but I've found local options I like for most of the few items I buy.

@ShanusThat's pretty much what I do with Amazon.    I don't like feeding Bezos' behemoth.  I support the underdog when it works well for me.

I know my protest is futile as their VOLUME last year increased by 70%, but that increase was way more than consumed by their shippings costs so the PROFIT went down (over half a billion dollars) instead of up.  Shipping and Handling is a problems for all companies as well as all us consumers.
