@care giver -- All the perishable, frozen food I have ever ordered has always been sent UPS Ground.  I don't know if things like candies, chocolates and cookies are sent UPS or if they use the post office.

 

Just today I received I received M54951-- Heartland Fresh Chicken Fried Chicken.  Tracking shows billing was received on March 27, Shipment left vendor on the 28th, Delivered today the 29th.  My EDD was supposed to be tomorrow and my chicken would have still been frozen then.

I ordered something as an Easter gift for my grandchildren within what I thought was a signigicant amount of time to get to me (so I could throw a card in the box) and then forward to them.  I received the order 2 weeks aftter I ordered it so it was too late to forward it unless I wanted to spend the money on next day delivery......was very disappointed.
