Just curious. Is anyone else waiting a few hours before orders show up on your account or receiving an e-mail confirmation?

Yes. I had placed an order for a one time only price. It was not in my order status and I did not receive an order confirmation email. I called customer service to see if they could see the order or if it didn't go through. I was told it wasn't there. So I ordered it again. The next day I got an email confirmation for the first order. I contacted customer service again and they couldn't cancel the dupe because it was in process already. Very annoying considering I called them the first time.

@Chrispy77 Yes exactly! Had buyers remorse 5 minutes after purchase so wanted to cancel right away. I knew QVC reps would not have additional input because I've been through this before. So waited up till almost 2am so I could cancel as soon as it showed up. Gave up and went to sleep. Was in Order Status in am. Thought I'd never be able to cancel...but I was able. Yay.

Happened twice last week! Ordered the Lug throw. Never showed up in my order status but payment in full was out of my account. Called CS next afternoon when order still didn't show as I wanted to cancel and reorder on the free shipping day. CS said it was not found even though I gave the order number that I received via emai!. Said they would put in request to IT. On Saturday it was still not in order status and I ordered again on free shipping. That one has never shown up either but the easy pay showed up! Am monitoring my account several times daily. Nothing. This is ridiculous. Not sure I will ever order Lug items again. Now I have the pleasure of calling CS again. Buyer beware!

@jackiesuzie I really don't believe this has to do with a specific item or brand (Lug). It's most likely a QVC technical thing. I don't know if everyone is experiencing this, but I guess I'm not the only one. Until quite recently, I almost always received immediate confirmation of an order, even those placed late at night or wee hours of the morning.

You are NEVER supposed to be charged until it actually ships.
It was probably a 'hold' of the amount to be sure you can pay for it.

I ordered the TSV KA and the order never showed on my Order Status, nor did I get an email confirmation. I had the order # but no one could see it.
CS ordered one on check hold....so we could wait a day or so to see if the first order showed up.
Don't want duplicate mixers !!
It never did...even IT couldn't see it, but I had the order #. Weird.
CS then changed the Check Hold mixer to my Q card....and made sure it went through at the correct price and free shipping.
Just ordering another one is TOO risky if you don't want the hassle of a duplicate.

@Derwin28 yes, it happened to me in August when I was ordering a gift. It did not show in order status and I was concerned the order had not gone through because I also had not received the email confirmation, which always comes in seconds. I called C.S. and they suggested I wait a few hours. I did so, and when it still did not show, I spoke with another CS who suggested I reorder and she did it on the spot (I do all my orders on line, normally). I was trying to get the order in because it was a free shipping day and it happens this item had a higher S&H.
BAD MOVE! The next day I checked order status and I now had two orders for the same item in process! Many phone calls to CS to straighten up that mess! It was also complicated by the fact that it was a bill-to/ship-to. I will never do that again!
