@TheMemphisVette   Did you pay extra for the Scenic Route?

Oh Yes !! I've had packages take the scenic route also !  They have even arrived at my USPS office and left the state to travel again before finally being delivered. Very frustrating.

@TheMemphisVette - It looks like their system is just doing "catch-up work" to document the path your package has already taken; it would be highly unlikely for the package to be in three different states within the span of three hours, especially if you consider that it could also reflect two time zones. Smiley Wink  If the delivery is truly in Georgia, though, it is definitely odd to have a Texas touchpoint. Hope you get your delivery soon!

This is what happens when items are shipped at Retail Ground. This is the lowest level of USPS support. They almost always require third parties (not related to USPS) to move packages who won't make trips that aren't profitable.

Here is a USPS chart. Notice the "No" under Speed for retail ground.

I posted this very thing a few wks back.  It has happened 3 times  & one order got lost, God only knows where.  Have you noticed  lately that orders are arriving sooner & I am receiving notices of when they are being shipped & when they will arrive?  Perhaps the powers to be do pay attention to these blogs.  Also my orders now include shipping labels & the invoice.  Yay!!!!!  Smiley Happy
