I have never started a discussion under this topic before. I have some of the same frustrations that many report here. I ordered 2 SG pants on 9/6/12 and today, 9/8/12, decided that I would prefer some upcoming Linea pants and that the pants were going to arrive so long after ordering. The estimated arrival date is 918/12. There is no way on-line to cancel...not even the message that they have shipped appear. I will call CS and see if there is a way to stop the shipment. I understand that I am 2 days into the process, but the fact they will not get here 12 days after ordering is frustrating. Now I feel better.
ps I talked to customer service and then to another level of CS. I will be responsible for shipping charges if I send them back. The stated policy is 7 to 10 business days for merchandise to reach the customer. I will certainly look at the calendar when I order again. There is no lack of nice knit options this year from various retailers. Talbots has some good looking ponte knit pants, of course more expensive, but I purchased and liked them in the past and will have them for years. I always say we get the most reaction with our wallets.
