Re: Only QVC would consider 9% off to be a "sale" price.

On responding to KYToby-Maybe people actually would LIKE to keep buying from QVC.

I don't think pointing out a 9% "sale" is just complaining but illuminating something that is just ludicrous in terms of marketing strategy (or none whatsoever!) As well as comparing 9% to every other sale they may have ever seen!

Why do you feel the need to so strenuously defend QVC, or criticizing those who mention or "complain" about it when a 9% sale is just pointing out that 9% is not considered a "sale" by most reasonable customers who have many other options.

@KYToby and of course QVC is totally pristine and would never do anything tricky with their pricing!

@febe1 I agree, taja, but then again they get paid to "act" this way.

@KYToby

We can always agree to disagree when it comes to QVC, but c'mon, even you have to admit that $6.14 off a $104.00 price tag is NOT a "sale". It just isn't.

And for the Q to cast this as a "sale", makes them look foolish. It just does.

Hi @febe1

That's intriguing!  I almost never watch anymore...do they really say that?  Has there ever been a "limit" on any purchase?!?

Hi @MacDUFF. Yep, I've heard it many times, especially by Jayne Brown: "Buy as many as you like. There's no limit on them." Smiley Happy
