I don't usually go on spending sprees but it is spring and my birthday is coming up, so I gave myself permission. I started at the Q by ordering H226628 which is a Martha Stewart 12 piece floral Melamine set. It is on clearance and I initially I ordered the blue but after about an hour, they had it backordered so I switched to the mint color that is still in stock. It got good reviews and I think I will enjoy it. Total price of $36.61.

Next I got an email from Soft Surroundings that the outlet had a big sale. I ended up getting a taupe buttonless lined jacket, A white embroidered 3/4 sleeve V-neck, very boho. Then a denim tunic with great button details caught my eye, think southwestern. So all three, including tax and shipping, was $69.

Lastly, I had a $20 Wayfair credit so I bought a highly rated tri-ply 12 inch stainless steel skillet by Tremontia. It was marked down and with my credit, I paid $19.99 which included tax and shipping.

You can see I am a bargain shopper. Have you got any good bargains lately?

@chessylady  You did great! Happy Birthday!

My birthday was this month and I have allowed myself a few splurges. On May first, I went to a Gem Show and bought a couple of gems to be set in a pendant and one in a ring. This was the first gem show since 2019.

Last week I purchased from QVC three more Stan Herman

caftans in the new colors. I fell in love with the two that I bought last year. They are so soft and comfortable.

After only shopping online for two years, I went to Macy's on Friday and shopped till I dropped. They were having a great sale and an additional 20% off coupon.

By the time I was done, I got two pairs of cotton gauze wide leg pants, one pair of crop pants, one dress, two tops and two

cotton cardigans. The grand total was $140. after applying $40.

of Macy's rewards cash.

All were cotton except for the dress. To me, cotton is king for the summer.

@Enufstuff Good for you! I have a Stan Herman short printed mumu looking dress in cotton that I bought years ago. I also have a winter pink full zipper robe that I only wear when it is really cold which isn't too often in California. I also like cotton but french jersey is too hot.  I wear mostly shorts or capris inthe summer.

@chessylady  Stan Herman is the best! I just love him. He seems

so sweet and down to earth. I wish that they offered more from him. It would be great if they could bring back the cotton chenile

robes. I have been buying his robes, lounge wear and bed jackets

since he has been on QVC . In the 70's I wore cute dresses that

he designed under the name Mr. Mort.

I know that he has been using more synthetic fibers, since

cotton is more difficult to get and pricey. But, I must say, even though his Parisian Garden caftans are synthetic fibers, they just feel soft, cool and dreamy on your skin. No hot polyester.

Happy birthday and enjoy your new purchases!    Ya call that a spree?  Wish my sprees were like that 😃.    I admire your restraint.

I pre- ordered a few pieces of fiesta ware in the new color, peony, from Macy's--got a sale price plus extra for the Memorial day sale and then had a $10 coupon on top of that. Woman Happy
