@BalletBabe - I had thought of ordering those, when they were the TSV, having missed out on last year's.

But I couldn't tell, if they were the double-knit (like last year), so I passed.  Also, I have so many socks that it's ridiculous!

I'm glad though, that they turned out to be nice.  Are the regular ones double-knit?  Do they have any loose threads inside?  That's what concerned me.

@Venezia   There are no loose threads.  I don't know about the double knit.  I am not sure how you tell that.  The 4 pair are just regular socks, but really really soft.  The heavier ones are not as thick as cabin socks, but a lot thicker then regular socks.  I noticed on some of the reviews that some were not happy that the treads were not on bottom.  These are socks not cabin socks.  The Cabin socks are what has those rubber things on bottom.  I personally like these alot and I do have the cabin socks from the last couple of years.  I like you don't need any more socks.  I am beginning to think I have a sock problem  LOL

i do not have these, but I have no need for a sock that high in Florida.  Walmart has  much better prices then QVC.  Hard to get sets though. I have many of them and I have never been disappointed.

Actually, according to the op it was not a change of heart but rather an order which had been placed previous to the shipping policy for new members. 

I don't see where @KKJ said she had a problem with venting. She asked a totally reasonable question considering post after post and thread after thread written to the contrary. Yes, as you mention, this is a discussion board so why is it that some posters have a problem with having a dialog? The op didn't seem mind. 

As to why should the op answer to anyone? No idea but possibly for the same reason you think KKJ should answer to you?
