Re: OMG --- What are they thinking....

I don't know what the op is talking about. QVC offers all types of fashions. To make a statement like that without anything to back it up is not right.

@Othereeeen   Agree 100% especially

"I know we can't go back....I wish I hadn't been so hard on my own Mom when she spoke wistfully of growing up before and after WW 2 ( she was born in 1921, died in 2015 at 94)...now I know how she felt."

I have said many times "Now I get it Mom!" who died in 2013 at the age of 98.

The world has changed so much in the past 20 years and a lot of it not for the better.

This will cause a stir I'm sure BUT....

The reason so much pull on stuff is shown is that over 50% of the population is obese.

The fact that "young people" wear these shapeless bags because they can't fit in fitted clothes any longer is a sad statement in itself...

I was looking at videos on You Tube recently of shopping venues in the 1970s and 1980s....McDonalds, malls, etc.....the population just 40-50 years ago is as if from another planet....

Take a look....

And the other stark difference in those videos taken in restaurants and fast food places are the people eating with friend and actually making eye contact instead of staring at thier palms....

I know we can't go back....I wish I hadn't been so hard on my own Mom when she spoke wistfully of growing up before and after WW 2 ( she was born in 1921, died in 2015 at 94)...now I know how she felt.

How we went from dressing appropriately in public to wearing pajamas to the grocery store in such a short time is stunning...

And what's worse is the number of young people who have already so let themselves go they will probably shorten thier lives considerably....I can't imagine.

I guess no one sells mirrors any longer.

@CalminHeart   Sometimes the TRUTH hurts.  Nothing shamful or rude about that.

Wow. That takes cajones and a cold, ruthless heart.
