Re: OH MY!!! WHAT ARE SOME OF THESE STYLIST THINKING!!!

I don't think it looks that bad but I would prefer the skirt with a fitted white tee.

My favorite look on my DD last Summer was a cute navy lace skirt, white fitted tee, and navy and white flip flops.

I don't like suede shoes or peep toe booties for the summer..they look so hot.

Obviously there are no fashion standards as there were years ago.  That is the statement they want to make.  Look at what LG puts together.  That is not my style, mixing colors and patterns and the prices are ridiculous in my opinion.  I'll stict to my classics and let them enjoy their mess.

Anyone hear Kristen say you can wear cuddle dud hoodie to a wedding. I don't want her styling me.

I would imagine the stylist need to push trends.

Re: OH MY!!! WHAT ARE SOME OF THESE STYLIST THINKING!!!

Some of the combinations are cringe-worthy but you don't have to listen to stylists. We are our own stylists---we know what colors and cuts look good on us.

However, I do find it amusing the number of ladies who keep commenting about living in NY and not seeing any of the Q's fashions there---uh, you do realize there are 49 other states and that New York is more than New York City with Madison Avenue, Fifth Avenue, etc.? A woman living in a small New York suburb would probably wear what's being sold on QVC, Evine, HSN. And in the few times I've been in NYC, there are things I've seen on ladies there I wouldn't be caught dead in. So please don't act like NYC is the be all and end all of fashion. Every state has fashionable people!

I agree with you, but to be fair, it is QVC that pushes the Madison Ave. , Hamptons and more recently California style that we should all strive for.  Oh and my favorite " the red carpet ", like we all are going to be judged by the fashion 👮. LOL

The casual seersucker top doesn't go with a dressy lace skirt. JMO.

The worst styling is logo clothes - layers upon layers upon layers - so unbecoming!

I agree.  Also, some of the combos that the vendors (like Isaac) suggest putting together just do not look good.  He was saying you could wear polka dots or stripes as a top with the floral pants.  Would be too much to me.

Re: OH MY!!! WHAT ARE SOME OF THESE STYLIST THINKING!!!

When they were selling the T-shirt dress, Issac remarked about the model in the black with the gold shoes that she could have come straight from Barneys.  For much more money.

IMO the shoes looked like worn out slippers you could buy at Woolworths years go and only stick figures can wear those t-shirts.   I just do not understand.

Right or wrong Mom brought me up to match things pretty much.

While I do appreciate stripes and patterns together especially in furnishings.  I need to have the colors go together.

I've noticed this for awhile now on QVC.....what are some of QVC's stylist thinking??????????????????? This morning I was watching AM STYLE and had to just shake my head on the combination------  They had a  sleeveless seersucker D&C top paired with this lace skirt.....the outfit just looked a bit ODD (to put it mildly) and I've noticed other outfits on fashion shows that seemed out of wack....Anyone else catch this???????? Opinions?????????????
