ODD SHIPPING NOTE ON HSN

I was going to purchase a Tracfone on HSN as it was a few dollars less than QVC; however, they had this odd "Important Note" about shipping. Not sure what it's all about so I purchased it from QVC instead.

This product will be delivered within 14 to 21 days of the order date. Health and safety are always our first priority. To minimize risk of exposure to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and continue to provide uninterrupted home delivery service, HSN’s delivery service carriers have suspended White Glove and Room of Choice deliveries until further notice. Threshold delivery will be provided for this item, meaning it will be delivered to the “first dry space”, such as first room of the home, a garage, etc. Details can be arranged when scheduling the delivery appointment. This service does not include hookup of any kind and old appliance haul away is not included. A daytime phone number is required to schedule the delivery appointment. Deliveries will be made Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Due to the size of the item, it can only be delivered to street addresses in the continental U.S.

Do you think this note was put in error on the page that was selling a Tracfone?? I don't get it??

Its obviously for a furniture or mattress delivery.

It's a pretty standard note for everything now. Delivery staff will no longer come inside your home. We ordered Tracfones from HSN earlier this month. They shipped straight away, got here quickly and the boxes were left on our porch.

We were monitoring the tracking so new when they were delivered.

ETA: HSN shipping seems to be a lot faster than QVC's.

@BunSnoop: That notice refers to products such as mattresses and any other large furniture items. I'm sure it was placed on that page in error. I can see how that would be confusing since you were only ordering a phone. LOL
