For all the mensa google retorts you can still look up a phrase and see 2 different things and even if you find what maybe the op was saying you don't know if it is what she meant until she nicely came back and explained.
Because after seeing 2 very different meanings, I could guess but I'd never heard this term OAP before either. And wondering if it was something new on air that I hadn't noticed before or seen before.
So we all should be good now.
Congratulations to all the superior mensas here who not only got it but had to let all of
us know who aren't, how easy it was for them to know exactly what or who she meant.

As for me, ( a totally proud non-mensa) I feel somewhat pitiful for continuing to post on this!
One of those days I guess.
Is continuing to discuss/argue on not so meaningful topics or any, good for the soul at times? The need to distract from all that is real or something? I don't know.
So many days though it's good to read about any and all-from toilet paper to fashion and animals, illness and everything in between!

Hmm... This is an interesting topic with equally interesting responses! I too, was not unfamiliar with OAP, but grateful for having learned something new today.😁 My guess was on-air producer which made NO sense now that I know the answer, but it was the best I could come up with!😊
Edited for clarification.

Big deal. Does it change your life? Does it hurt someone? No.
So many of the complaints on these forums are ridiculous. It's time to grow up and be a little tolerant. It's called life.
Does this include your complaint.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but post #4 was just guessing, not confidently answering the question.

Back in the olden days, I was taught proper writing etiquette was to always use the complete phrase prior to shortening things to an acronym or abbreviation. I imagine the purpose was for clarity and to avoid confusion.
Seems those days are long gone. To me brevity is meaningless if it requires follow up questions.

@Tinkrbl44 Sorry I even posted. I knew what it was but didn't find it appropriate to repeat what was already answered.
