So, during the food shows today and perhaps even the fashion shows the last day or so-the hosts are shoulder to shoulder so to speak. I haven't really noticed that being the case prior to this week.

Does this mean it's okay to be next to each other now with no masks or distancing on QVC? If so, do you think vendors will come back to the studio soon?

This is a non issue as far as I'm concerned.  I really don't care.  I'm fine with vendors not having to spend hours traveling to QVC for a 5 minute appearance that can easily be done on Skype.  Their personal presence in a studio is not important in my purchasing decision.  I remember when there were no vendors.

What is the difference to you of they are in studio or not? Please don't say you can't hear, blah blah...technology works just fine.

What vendor would give up the time and expense of air fare, cabs, hotels, and food for a 10 minute spot?

The only people I know who wear masks or don't get cheek to jowel with people are us and two more couples.

Have after it.

@LilMadi  I like to see the vendors in studio with the hosts. There is less talking over each other and much better communication. The personal interaction is more natural. Several of the vendors of the home and kitchen items live a short drive from the studios.

People have moved on. I went to the doctor today and was so happy that face masks were optional. Only one person was wearing one. It's time to get over it and get on with life.

Seems like it's a gradual thing.  I hope they will be back soon.  I found it more enjoyable when they are on air.  As to what will happen in the near future, who knows.

Its one thing going to your local doctor. It's a totally different situation for a Vendor to spend thousands of dollars on air, food, hotels for a 5 minute appearance. Speaking of moving on, the world has with technology. Major companies are reevaluating spending huge costs on massive office space. ' Business ' trips are becoming a thing of the past.

And yes, even QVC has moved on.

@Meowingkitty For some, it will be hard to" get over it" as we wear masks for many reasons. e.g. we are immuno-compromised, receiving chemo or radiation treatments, have heart conditions and other maladies that make infections potentially deadly.

I think the if the quality of the Skype is working I do not mind. I found some of the presentations difficult to watch with echos and breaking up conversation two years ago. Even Isaac had issues and it was hard to hear and understand. It is alot better now. It seems to be more practical in many ways. saving money, time and effort. I rather enjoy seeing different decor and background than Q's studios all the time if I do watch.

I also recall complaints about hosts and vendors hugging and kissing all the time and offensive so that  sure eliminates that issue?

On the other hand, there are two to three hosts and close together on more shows. This is occurring more frequently, so no longer concerned about distancing.
