I never post here, even though I'm a long time QVC shopper. First, it was bad enough when HSN bought QVC and now to save money, QVC is no longer live from midnight to 7am. Fair enough. I get it. But what i can't watch any more are these new people taking over as product representatives and the constant selling updates. The last straw was having the new tall, dark-haired lady now do Cheryl's cookies and Ghirmack-she said she was calling Wally yesterday. Really? Lady, everyone knows you do not work at the plant and you're not packing the pecans! Okay?! Now they also have the other woman who used to do Keurig doing everything and the lady from Halo, too. Can't take it! They are not believable or genuine and they have no history with these companies they are representing. I get it-QVC saves money and can control who they have on air-but do you think you could throw in a middle-aged, heavy set woman with short hair sometime-maybe someone who looks like and can relate more to your customers?! I won't buy anything they present. And the selling updates! The poor Tina woman with Kitchen Aid and Chris Pryme from Lock n Lock, can't get in a word in edgewise when they are with David because he is constantly giving updates. Tina hasn't finished a recipe in months! Months I tell you! Just sayin'!

Re: New Product Reprentatives

@natedog0730  I agree with you QVC overuses the tall dark haired presenter. She is quite nice, but she can't possibly represent all those compainies. I've seen her present lobsters, Temp-tations, Germack and other things. My DH and I were actually laughing about it a few weeks ago. I, like you, would prefer to see a company rep demo the product, but I don't think that's going to happen anymore. Also, didn't QVC buy HSN? Not sure, but that's what I thought.

Re: New Product Reprentatives

The vendor rep that reps for Halo, Fitbit, phones, ipads, air pods, etc. is very good at explaining the various products she presents Smiley Happy I think maybe a few of them actually do work for the company in some way,Clarks, Earth, Dooney...but then there are those that are just local people that applied for the job to be a vendor rep Smiley Happy  I could be wrong though Woman Indifferent

@PA Mom-mom , Qurate, the parent company that owns QVC, Zulily, etc, bought HSN.

Re: New Product Reprentatives

HSN didn't  buy QVC, QVC didn't  buy HSN...they are both owned by Qurate. Qurate also owns Zulily, Ballard Designs, Grandin Road, Garnet Hill & Frontgate. The Cheryl's Cookies rep announced  she was retiring, the Germack rep always says she calling Wally & the other women reps mentioned are talented & capable of presenting  more than one line. Tina & Chris like David, enjoy being on his show & nothing about his happy dance show is going to change. The middle age, heavy set woman with short hair comment...good grief.

Mary Eckenrhode (sp?) the Cheryl's Cookie rep retired.  I don't particularly care for the new rep.  She also represents the croissant company and she gets on my last nerve whenever she pours chocolate sauce over the croissants.  Enough!

The less I say about the Keurig lady the better. She seems like she represents many products on QVC. Overexposed.

I've only seen the Germack rep present that particular product.

Re: New Product Reprentatives

I don't think you get anything, not even the fact that QVC and HSN are owned by another entity.  You also apparently don't "get" that companies selling on QVC can hire whomever they wish to represent their product.  These reps don't work for QVC.   Before you make other erroneous statements, please do your research.

....and then there's the sales guy that demonstrates everything from room humidifiers to covers for the icy car windshield.

@natedog0730: Just a minor correction:  HSN does not own QVC. They are (both) owed by the Qurate Retail Corp.
