This happens now and  then also hearing ,"First Time on Air".

Yesterday Tarte was advertising their serum as "A New Launch." I thought WHAT????  Not True ! I have an almost empty bottle in my bathroom from Q. A few years ago  purchased, but NOT a new product for Q. I actually ordered it  again for the summer, as like a lighter foundation with good coverage.

@UpNorthGorgy,  I think you are overlooking that when it comes to Q for something to be "new" all it takes is a different configuration or sometimes even just a different size.

For example, offering two of a well known product qualifies in Q speak as "new".  Established makeup--add a brush and it is "new" or "first time on air" or "first time offered" or even "exclusive to Q until...".

And if they merely change the item number , it's "new".

I think it's it's a sneaky sales ploy to make us think it's new. Adding a brush that adds $20 to the price is not necessary. I have too many brushes already.
