@San Antonio Gal   YES, def agree with you! I can't wait to see her movie with Bill Murray in a few weeks. I am and my family also are huge dog lovers and the movie is a feel good story about Naomi's character adopting Bill Murray's character's dog.

I watched for a nano second trying to figure out why the vendor sounded familiar--but then JT was host so a huge --change the channel moment--but NW looked kind of disheveled---there were 2 extra people besides JT--who was who---and sorry--but the product she is hawking----dear gawd WHY???????

Welp, I guess I'll jump in here. Naomi and her cohort were selling a product called "vag of honor", a vaginal lubricant. Fine, whatever, not a problem for me. What did floor me was listening to the women who created this product constantly referring to "down there" or "hoo ha". Really? So juvenile especially for someone who is trying to educate women about the realities of menopause. Even referred to " getting frisky" instead of just saying can be used prior to sex.

I'm 76, a child of the 60's when women were finally enrolling in medical and law schools, finally allowed to obtain a credit card in their own name, finally experiencing reproductive freedom with the advent of the pill. A fabulous time of growth and excitement with advances in civil rights, voting rights etc etc. Pride and respect for scholarship, research, science.

If anyone had told me then, that 55 years later, middle aged women would believe that they were on the daring, cutting edge giggling about "hoo has". I just can't. I don't belong in this world or culture. It's too bizarre for me but I'm sure they would say the same of me. Lol.

I'm pretty sure I don't need a 24/7 shopping channel to educate me about menopause or the benefits of a vaginal lubricant. Thank goodness I don't watch this channel anymore and no wonder sales aren't soaring. I just need to cut the cord and close my account for good.

YES! Well-done! So well-written!
You have totally nailed the problem of the double entendres and giggles and embarrassing host chatter surrounding almost every product associated with personal hygiene, menopause, etc. on QVC. If this is our Age of Possibility, let's discuss it with honesty and candor.
The viewers and posters here are complex, experienced, savvy shoppers. We can actually be pitched an item using anatomical terms, consumer and laboratory studies and the PROPER NAMES of our body parts.
The other approach suggests there should be shame, embarrassment or secrecy surrounding products women may need for incontinence, personal odors, dryness, etc. WE ARE ADULTS. Stop treating us like 14-year old giddy girls trying to buy our first box of tampons!
