Right that! I've liked her from the beginning: a good host and a good rep. for the Q.

I really enjoy Nancy. I find her to be friendly and well schooled on what she is selling. I think she has a very kind heart and would be a great neighbor to share coffee and recipes with.

Well, finally an OP starts a thread and writes something complimentary about a show host. How nice and refreshing ! I am very impressed !

On this occasion, I happen to agree. But I now believe that what I first saw in Nancy's early month's may have been nothing more than normal nervousness. She certainly doesn't show that any more, and I find her warm and engaging.

If you aren't newly fresh from breast cancer, mastectomy surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, going bald, loosing your eyelashes, eyebrows, body hair, taking heavy drugs every day for the next five years or more that can keep you sick, please don't judge her behavior, especially early on starting a new job "on air". It's a mighty undertaking. I went through the same thing this year so I know what I'm talking about. It's harder than you think when you try to get back to a "normal" life and certainly on a new job.

Also , she adopted her first child around the same time so her life was very changed.

I think she has learned her products well, and is a beautiful woman. I'm very proud of how she shares her experience with cancer and all that she is involved in to raise money and bring awareness to this horrific killing disease.

Host bashing over such trivial things is such an unkind, trivial and childish thing that I don't understand why adult women keep doing this on these forums. If you don't like someone or something, just keep it to yourself and move on. No one forces you to watch any TV show, host, or program.

I don't understand this chronic complaining about QVC people and things just because this forum is here. It could be put to much better use.

I'm beginning to believe the people who complain and whine about things are just that...chronic complainers and negative people who spend their lives constantly in judgement of other people, talking and gossiping about them everywhere they go.

Do something other than watch QVC only to then come here and complain about someone.

Try being a nicer, kinder person while on this earth. You were lucky to be chosen to take up space here. Don't blow it.

HopeQ1, you have taken most of all of the words out of my mouth ! I agree with everything you said, as my thinking is along the same lines. So nice to know someone sees and feels what I do about this warm, kind host. It's also good to be reminded at this stage in life that first impressions are not always what they seem ! Nancy has grown in her knowledge certainly as she studied and learned to become a Certified Gemologist, but the good traits she brings to the table she brought with her. She is a refined, nice lady, and I'm glad she is a host and my opinion of her changed for the better. I like knowing when I am wrong ! It's growth !

Thank you for your lovely comments.

Blessings to all.

Amen. She's NOT improved enough to remain on-air. I'm sure she gets to keep her job because of the threat of a "you fired me because of my health issues" lawsuit.

I am appalled that someone would be crass enough to make a statement like this about Nancy's past health issues and that she would use it to keep a job, and imply that it is the reason she is on air now.

How unintelligent and low-class can a woman be as this poster? {#emotions_dlg.angry} {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} {#emotions_dlg.mad}

OhMyGosh -- I absolutely LOVE Nancy -- Her little personality is as sparkly as the jewelry she presents and I love to watch her ""bubbly"" self on the Honora Pearl shows -- I think she is just great and ALWAYS a lady!!
