I honestly pay no attention to the personality of a vendor unless they really annoy me enough to turn the channel (and some do). They're hardly allowed to open their mouths with some hosts anyway. They are non-entities AFAIC, even the ones who develop fan followings on the forums.

I thought a vendor or rep are basically the same. They are not hosts. So that's how I came up with my list. (anyone on air who is not a host)

A vendor can rep the same line (like Susan Graver), and a product rep (Oscar) can represent certain type of products.

I can't think of anyone,

but would like to see some eye candy, beefcake.

We need more male hosts.

Oscar would be a great host.   He explains electronic equipment, so that it is easily understood (Q & A) and doesn't get all hyper.  He could handle all of the other products with the same ease.

I have absolutely no idea why this response. I know all that.  I said that. Whether you want to state that a vendor and a rep are the same thing for the purposes of this thread (fine by me), they're not actually the same thing and I was merely pointing that out.  And you acknowledged it in your response, so...point?

Re: Name current QVC vendor that would be a good host!

Meridith had her own show very briefly.  I think she should continue as she is or have her own show.  I don't think she would be interested in being a host and presenting items other than "kitchen" type items.  She is great at what she does now.   Most vendors probably wouldn't want to be a host.

Meredith Laurence was filling in as co-host on In the Kitchen with David today and I kept thinking she would be a great host.  She is easy going, funny and very professional.

Who else do you think would make a good host from the current vendors????

Thanks!

Meredith had her own show "Blue Jean Chef" very briefly.  I think she should have her own show or stay as she is.   I doubt she would be interested in hosting and presenting items other than "kitchen" items.  That is her speciality.  She is excellent at giving us tips and shortcuts, etc and explaining how items work.     I doubt any vendors would like to host.

I think Carolann from Halston would be a great host, she is so classy.  I also like Amy from Clarks and Christie from Tiganello and Allison that was from Tiganello and now works with another company.  When Amy did a show one day with Carolyn, she was such a natural.
