@eddyandme

Unbeknownst to you, you chose our menu for tonight by mentioning shrimp, LOL!

I decided we're having a Low Country Boil with fresh shrimp, kielbasa, red potatoes and corn on the cob.....Yum!

Already picked up the fresh shrimp and had the rest in the fridge/freezer.

I'm ready to go for tonight!

Ohhhhhhhhh!  Yummmmmmm!

Haven't had that in years!!!!  Boiled all together in one of those navy blue pots over a campfire.......reminds me of camping (rv!) out at the Jersey Shore!!!!!

I've got some small shrimp in the freezer.  Maybe I'll saute up some little srimpees with some pasta for me and Eddy tonite - thought it won't even be close to a Low Country Boil!!!

Enjoy your supper @KingstonsMom !  I'm drooling nowWoman Embarassed!

@eddyandme Welcome to the very large club of disgruntled QVC food shoppers. I have simply stopped buying any food item from QVC because between their communication process with the vendor, and then the overwhelmed shipping companies like UPS, FEDEX, there is little hope of getting your food in frozen condition. What is odd, though, is I order food from companies like Carnegie Deli, Vital Seafoods, etc., and never have had a delay. For some reason QVC always draws the short stick. Also, a major difference is in the packing of these perishables. QVC products come with one small (empty) bag of dry ice, and these other companies have multiple levels of cold packing in their boxes, which assures frozen arrival.

I have ordered 2 food items from QVC

Mrs Prindables- the apples were green inside- not ripe and tasteless.

Potstickers - forget the brand - they were OK, nothing special. Ridiculously overpriced.

I get them at Wegman's now- they are great.

Both orders were quite a few years ago. Never again.

I mentioned this @furbabylover , stating these food vendors must properly ensure product is properly cold-packed and shipped in a timely manner.  The rep was messaging this to PTB.

I'm sure, as QVC responds to customers' complaints/suggestions, in a most untimely manner - if at all(!) - it was to no avail.  However, I must give kudos to their customer service - greatly improved now!!!  I left a callback request and received the callback in a little over ten minutes!!!

Anyways, I am now officially member of the Disgruntled Q Food Shoppers Club!Woman Wink
