Smiley Mad   I am fed up with the Q's  rediculously long processing and shipping times.  I think I am official done with QVC and it is very sad, at least for Me, Im sure they dont care, considering I have been shopping with them since 1986.  I ordered a simple Garden statue for My Mother for Mom's Day on April 28th, it was not even processed through billing until May the 5th and will not arrive until Monday.  How convienant, NOT!  So does QVC not work weekends anymore ? Is that the deal?  I tried to cancle the Order so that I could use the Money to go buy Her something to have on time instead and was told that I could not cancle the order even though it was still processing, and the bank had already dropped the pre auth charges.  This is just bad business all the way around.  I don't know who they think they are kidding but I for one have had enough.  I dont trust QVC anymore .  Sorry about the spelling mistakes, typing very hot and furiously.Cat Mad

I think you ordered too late to expect QVC to deliver before Mother's Day. 

Even when the hosts say that a product will arrive by a specific day, I wouldn't count on it.

You can still give her the gift, yes, albeit, a little late, but I'm sure that your mother would enjoy it just the same.

 

A gift shouldn't make or break a day.

 

The day should be about being with your mom, and enjoying her company.

 

That's the real gift.

Yes I realize now that I waited to late to order on a whim, I guess I have grown use to the other shopping .coms and how quickly You recieve the Item You ordered.  I also noticed the prices on QVC have gone sky high compared to other places, but I still come back and I am slow to learn.  Its finally dawning on Me that the Q is nothing like it use to be...:Woman Sad

I think you're right - we have to remember that Q's order processing is much slower than that of other online companies.  They ought to provide an expected delivery date when you place an order.  And, as for being done with Q, they'll say good-bye and don't let the door hit you on the way out.  Smiley Happy

So sorry about your gift arriving later than Mom's Day, but I know that the two of you will enjoy the gift of just being together. 

 

I'm having a different issue with Q's delivery. Apparently they are now leaving it up to their warehouse "people" to decide whether to ship via UPS or USPS.

This is a big issue for me, as using the Post Office means at least a couple of extra days in dellivery time, because of the way our local mail is handled. I've had an understanding for over 20 years that my orders were to come UPS. I have talked with them and am told that they can't make that determination  anymore, as the warehouse staff makes the final decision.  I am now ordering very few things.  Unless it's too big for the mailbox, I don't order it anymore. Disgusted.

You are SERIOUSLY missing the point of Mothers Day.

 

I have no family left. At 47 years old, my whole family were gone. I'm 56 now.

 

Not easy.

 

And you're complaining about a gift that won't get there until the following day???

 

Be happy, be grateful, feel blessed you have your Mom.

 

Share the day with her. Ask her what she wants to do for the day and do it with her with happiness.

 

You still have your Mom.

 

Who cares about a late delivery for a gift??

 

Loving people and spending time with them is not about materialistic gifts.

 

If you are there for her and enjoy her company, can laugh, celebrate, tell stories, tell her you love her, you have the greatest Mothers Day right in front of you.

 

Get your priorities straight.

Seriously? You ordered ridiculously late to expect a gift (ANY gift, from ANY website) to arrive before Mother's Day without paying for very expedited shipping.

 

You have NOTHING to complain about except your own poor judgment.

I'm sorry you didn't receive your statue.  For something like that, I think 4/28 was too late to order and expect it to arrive before Mother's Day.  Any one who has been shopping at Q knows their shipping is pony express slow.
