It took you since 1986 to figure out?    Sorry but Q has always had bizarre shipping times.   Sometimes I swear it ships before I'm done ordering and sometimes I wait up to 10 days.

Sad but true. You never really know what to expect. I don't like it but always take it into account when ordering.

@spend4zen  I agree with you. Eight days is plenty of time to receive an order. I do a lot of online shopping, and my QVC orders always take the longest to arrive.

There's a reason why the "E" in "EDD" stands for "ESTIMATED".

Hi I wanted to jump in this...I also forget what I've ordered by the time I open that envelope or box.😕 I was that daughter that shopped & bought the BEST gift that she would be so excited & happy about. I lost my Momma 4 years ago, she died in her sleep. When I got up the next morning  I found her & started CPR, but she was gone. That WILL be the worst day of my life. My Daddy died exactly 2 years later, at home with me. We always made every second count. Please do that. They deserve that!😅

Once you've delayed on ordering a gift, you have to change gears and go to Amazon Prime. A buyer sometimes needs to take the blame.

I do hate ordering anything that isn't included in prime.

I am so sorry it did not arrive. It seems nowadays nobody has to be accountable for anything they say. There are so many great small and big companies that want your business and care if you are satisified. I would consider trying one of them.

IMO you have every right to be upset. It doesn't matter what other circumstances people are in.  Your feelings are valid and you wanted to make your moms day happy. Thats what counts. Don't let other belittle you. Take Care!Heart

They tell you it will take 7-10 days to ship.  Believe them, they are not lying.

S4Z,

I know how disappointed you were in not being able to surprise your mom with "the perfect gift". Perhaps you could have printed a copy of it and included it inside a heartfelt card? You certainly don't need another person to remind you that you waited too late to order (but you did). You are indeed blessed to still have your mom as a lot of us do not. Mother's Day for us was bittersweet with only our memories of mom.

Forgot to agree with the mention of Amazon Prime. Now there is a company that knows how to deliver and then some!
