@GCR18  I study the measurement guide too but sometimes I buy more than one color of an item and one fits and the other doesn't so I still have to return one.  That's the reason I don't shop for fashion much here anymore.  I'm glad it works well for you though.

Like you, I have had to return quite a bit of home decor items because they  were defective.

I think they should scrap letters for clothing returns because the sizes and sometimes quality are inconsistent.

I always check the click here measurements and reviews, and still the clothes are the wrong size.  For me it is definitely a roll of the dice.

mine is about 50% due to inconsistancy in sizing.also I have noticed that the larger sized models seem to wear a smaller size as the jackets etc are never buttoned they seem to tight

I'm with you @Another new name Sue.  I order a lot from the Q, and I keep most everything else except I end up returning about half the clothes.  It is just so hard to find a right fit.  I know people will say I should stop buying from the Q but it is so hard to find my size out there that I still try and hope things will work. I'm XL-1X and need tall inseam.  I need office-professional clothes that aren't too frumpy (I'm in my 30s).  I feel like there are very few stores for me to shop at...

@Tantallum  Have you ever tried Talbots when they have their sales?  Their prices are very good during the sales, and their clothes are professional.  They have talls in your size.  I don't believe everything is in a tall, but I have noticed that some things are.  My mother was tall, and Talbots was about the only place she ever shopped.

Return shipping is really a killer; I looked at my returns since I started buying here and I have too many also, although many were before they changed the shipping fees.

Guess the Q does well with sales but I'm going to buy sandals at Nordstrom or Zappos because of the shipping issue here.

@Snoopp, I don't even want to add up all the money I've spent in returning shoes that don't fit. That's $12. loss to try on a pair. I can do much better even shopping online where S&H is free and returns also.

I just received two pair of Bzees from HSN. I was amazed. They were a true size 8M and fit perfectly.

Clothes and shoes have become remarkably inconsistent. Everything is too inconsistent to even bother with anymore. Quality Control must have been fired or should be!

I quit buying clothes from Q because I can't rely on sizing or quality.   I can buy from local stores and countless online retailers without having to pay the shipping....and the prices are usually better.

Could it be that QVC weighs returns against actual sales.  Maybe some customers return more than they actually buy?  Do they track condition of merchandise upon return?  Maybe some customers get "the letter" based on the above information.

That's very high.  I'd have stopped buying Q clothing long ago.
