This is interesting because I've had QVC on in the background for decades and yes, I'm embarressed (somewhat) to say that I've fallen asleep to the droning too, BUT I've also bought a ton of stuff over the years which wouldn't have happened if I had turned the channel off.  Which bytheway is what I do now, almost immediately with some hosts and in due time with others.  I never buy anything spur of the moment anymore and that's ok.  I've been saying it for a long time now, those days are over and unless the shopping channels come up with a better way to go than the anxiety they are producing, the channels will sucumb to just another bloop in shopping history.  Say..... what ever happened to Shopping Malls????  (I've already said too much)......
