I agree, @alliswell!   And, in my opinion, your words are very quotable!

The "What Susie said..." post and its companion post were worthwhile reminders the first, and maybe the second time they were posted by the same poster (although not the first time those quotes have been posted to the forums). But I've seen those two posts, by the same poster, repeated in several threads over the past few days and at least once I'd swear repeated in the same thread.

When such repetition is used, it then begins to  appear less a wise reminder than a passive-aggressive general swipe by a poster who doesn't actually  enter the conversation to contribute to it with their own words, but who just nanny-chides. So, much less altruistic, and a distinct dilution of the message, IMO.

? If you refer to my posts with all due respect.........

This is the first time I posted these but the quotes are intelligent, wiser than this old owl (me lol), and have been around a long time and they speak for themselves imho. I'm glad others appreciated them. Smiley Happy

@JDJ555, I don't ever want to malign someone falsely. I have seen the posts in several places, several times, over the weekend. In doing a search, I suspect what might be occurring is that others are using/copying etc your posts and that your username is being perpetuated in these posts on more than one thread, and that 1-2 of these threads might have been deleted.

I apologize inasfar as it doesn't appear to be that you yourself were perpetuating the same posts but I've sure seen them "bloom" this weekend.

We live in a time when so many are offended, and then wonder where the young people get this?  Yes, be as polite as you can to each other, but don't let anyone stop you from speaking the truth.  I never say a thing here I wouldn't say to someone in person.  Never.
