QVC lost several hundred dollars because they did not send me what I ordered, or thought I ordered.

1. J335979 EternaGold Chain over $100 not even big enough to hold a small pendant.

2. J334363 CP bead necklace cracked &mis-drilled beads, not even a "second" $100+

3. J331817 EternaGold Chain received dirty & used. $140+

4. A275109 C. Wonder tee ordered sz L GOT sz XL $30+

5. A262851 Issac robe material was thin did not fit in my normal size $100+ (ordered 3)

6. J333608 EternaGold chain with a new tiny unworkable clasp $200+

7. Ordered 3 pair C.W stretch pants, same size as their jeans. No stretch in waist $100

8. J344692 DQ 14K ring Gold so thin & unlike past DQ $130+

9. J319836 14k gold bead necklace Dull and strung on dirty white visable thread $160+

10. A275089 C. Wonder favorite jeans got an Issac top and a Mackie something. Called CS, they sent out my jeans which took almost 3 weeks to recieve.

If I could get what I wanted we both would be happy. I write reviews for others on everything I purchase so we won't waste our money. Thanks to everyone who does the same for me!

I feel your pain and greatly appreciate reviews. In the past I reviewed all that I purchased. Stopped doing that when tptb started manipulating reviews i.e. listing item under new item# for a different color. I became frustrated.

I rely on reviews but unfortunately at times some items with bad reviews are suddenly gone and come back as a new item with zero reviews.

OP, I used to love Eternagold. They've gone way downhill the last few years but their price per gram has remained high. I estimate the gold weight since it's rarely shown online or on tv. I am very liberal with my estimate and go with $80 per gram. I've seen EG with almost $100 per gram online. Either way their price per gram is a lot more than most retailers. That means a $150 chain is likely less than 2 grams but certainly no more. Two grams will never be strong enough for a pendant or regular use.

If you want good gold jewelry for great prices, try sarrafdotcom. They have great customer service and lots of options.

Unfortunately I'm sure you'll be receiving the "letter", it doesn't matter who's fault it is, they'll tell you to call CS if you need assistance picking out an item.

Also, I really wouldn't spend to much time with Eterna Gold, gold is pretty high and what you are actually receiving is like little girls' jewelry, no weight and everything so small and petite.

I feel your pain for returns, returns are surely an inconvenience for the customer.

unfortunately these days, it is pretty much buyer beware with regard to QVC's products. I stopped buying jewelry from them some years ago after being disappointed with dental floss weight or simply boring designs.

Plus the shipping has gotten silly IMO - FED EX SMARTPOST has got to be the worst carrier ever. I ordered a lock and lock set of pitchers (not jewelry I realize) and they wandered around from PA to my local post office and got "stuck there" and suddenly no tracking is available after 10 days. I called CS and asked for a refund. I'll find something locally.
