Did you know that Laurie Shore (the Mrs. Prindables vendor) used to be a QVC program host many years ago? She was as lovely as a host,  as she is representing Prindables.  I think she left when she had children and returned a while later selling Prindables.

Yes, I do remember her as  host... sweet woman and did/does a good job.  My only question is:  How old is that caramel she's stirring anyway..... ....

Yes, I do remember her.  Always enjoyed her. 

I'm jealous too.....she's around all those yummy apples all the time and does not gain a pound!!!

QVC had a nation-wide "host search" where they conducted interviews of prospective hosts from around the country.  Quite a to-do where the Q made a big deal out of it.  Laurie Shore was the winner.  She didn't last very long, if memory serves, only about a year or less.

I remember her well but don't recall her departure was due to having a child.  I believe the consenus was that she just wasn't suited to being a host.  She makes a good vendor rep but I surely am tired of hearing about those darn apples, which I don't like.  I cook with Granny Smith but can't stand to eat them....too sour.

I remember not liking her as a host, but in retrospect, she was heads and tails above most of what they have recently hired.
