@Gabidog. It also would have definitely made more sense to do research about how many cable providers do not carry Q2 or BEAUTY IQ. My cable co. carries neither.

Not only does the added expense of having additional channels with the same merchandise seem pointless, I think the extra costs will eventually trickle down to the original Q prices of merchandise and shipping.

I get all three of their channels. The best description is adding more chairs to the Titanic.

QVC's problem is not enough new vendors and new products, showing the same stuff ad infinitum.

Now they've added two other channels to show all the same boring products.

Their financials on the down-hill has never been not enough channels.

So very true!! How about getting some new vendors on.  It was bad enough with the same vendors all the time but now it's the same on three different channels.  Go figure.

This is a really good question!  Why add more channels if it's going to be the same products?

I can see a "beauty" channel.  It is one line I do watch QVC for.  Not all - I am sick of philosophy, Josie Maran, etc.

I don't watch food, cooking, flowers, that kind of thing.

Unless you are going to get items not on the main channel, I just don't get it.  My cable doesn't have any other than the one QVC.

This was decided by management...spreading out the same, same, and same merchandise over, and over and over.We as regular customers, are disappointed by the way Q.V.C. is headed.Shows used to interest me,now they are so repetitive,i usually change the channel, because I know I am not missing anything.Three channels are not the answer. The answer lies in management,as it always has!

They're sure pushing those new channels on this website.  I have no intention of watching either one of them.  Actually I have no idea if I even get them on my cable, and I have no desire to find out.

I agree they should work on improving the "old" QVC before adding more channels.

I have all of them and they're all lined up in my program viewer: Channels 315, 316, 317 and 318. Therefore, I get to see at a glance what's happening.

It's all just moving around all of the chairs. You would have to watch a long time to catch something new.

It's just a complete puzzle.

That is exactly what I stated in some prior posts!! Get new vendors and products...better programming.  If a company's financials are not looking that good...why would they hire five new hosts and start several additional channels???  I don't get that equation at all!

I really don't understand adding a "beauty" channel

when there already are hundreds of beauty products shown on the regular channel???  And why sequester one of the best male hosts - Alberti - on the Beauty channel??  He should be on the channel that gets the most viewers!!

I agree.  Alberti was so versatile from beauty items, to outdoor decor/pressure washers, etc.  I think he could present just about any item and I also don't understand why he was transferred to the other channel.  I don't even get that channel.  I seldom watch QVC2 either.  I watched Mary's kitchen show a few times, but it's the same items as ITKWD so I won't watch often.

When are they going to start a cooking channel and banish Mary and David to it? Too many channels. Too much busy stuff on the web site. Too much repeated merchandise. At least planting season is finally over for the spring, no more daylilies.

Planting season may be over.....but that unfortunately makes more room for more vacuums, more blenders, computers/tablets, beds, mattresses, It Cosmetics, Dooney, and Argan Oil Woman FrustratedWoman Tongue
