@Kindaglitzy

I agree. I prefer the videos Jenniefer & Helen do from Seaview. I wish they'd do some longer videos again where they chat a lot, along with presenting the items. Those are fun.

I taped the show and have not watched it yet.  However, I feel so sorry for Jennifer Kirk as ever since they brought her back on the Q she has not gotten any prime time shows and is also pitted with show hosts who do not do her jewelry justice; in fact, are just down right not good presenting her beautiful jewelry.  She does not have a chance to get back to her very successful days of old.  One of her previous appearances the show host, one of the newer hires, was not even wearing a necklace at all; earrings which you really couldn't see and not sure if she was even wearing a bracelet or not.  In any event, these show hosts should be dripping in KF necklaces during the show!  Please QVC give Jennifer Kirk and this lovely line a fighting chance of success; she needs more hours and some at least during prime time or good daytime hours, not middle of night with still learning hosts.

I also watched the show. While I do understand that Monifa is relatively new, she did not seem properly prepared to present this line. Someone, please, help her with pronunciaion of Aurora Borealis. Jenniefer Kirk was very patient with her.

@FlyersGirl    Its very sad that hosts are so arrogant and ill-prepared that without a thought, they go onstage before an audience of thousands or millions without knowing how to pronounce key words.  Its obvious they don't even glance over the merchandise or its description.  They apparently don't even care.  I wish I could supervise these people.

I'll be happy to recommend you for the job! 😉   And its so easy to learn pronunciations in this day of technology--- google will give the word pronunciation. It takes just a little bit of effort, which not only new hosts, but some seasoned hosts as well; need to take advantage of....It seems only a few QVC hosts do their homework these days and the rest just "wing it" and are more concerned about having a good time on the job...🙄

@Spurt    The QVC gig is probably the best job many of these hosts have ever had, yet they care so little about doing it well.  There must be a corporate attitude of lack of concern there.

I remember years ago, Jill mentioned QVC having a reference library where employees could study things like gemstones.  She used to spend a lot of time there.  It's probably a janitor's closet now.

Yep, probably gathering dust or being used as a door stop....

Whenever QVC has a host opening you hear about all the people lined up so eager to apply in the hopes of landing this wonderful job!!!! But now it seems like once they are hired they think they have it made....I think they should look at the list of FORMER QVC hosts that were "let go" and hang that list in a place to motivate them to do their absolute best work.........At least there are a FEW, TOO FEW that mention that they talked to the vendors to learn about the products they will be presenting....its funny because those are the hosts that are my favorites..........

@Spurt    You're right, there were some darn good hosts that didn't make the cut.  They probably were not dynamic enough, didn't talk fast enough, didn't exhibit extreme personality to generate sales.  Many were a heck of a lot better and had more class than the current new crop.  It's like they've lowered their standards so maybe they can pay them less?

Yep, some good ones were let go----Katie, Stacey, Gabrielle...... I guess they are looking for a certain demographic and personality...but what the Q likes, and what I like are different I guess....🤔

@bobby5  I saw the show as well and you described it accurately. It was very uncomfortable. I always watch Kirks Folly's shows and I don't think Monifa even knew what the brand itself represents. To me, the brand is very endearing, angelic and spiritual. Not a time for interruption, loud laughter and borderline mocking it. I cringed many times. This the 2nd newer QVC host that really needs training.
