Kelshar, I'm very concerned for Dan Wheelers health and well being as well. Is he eating properly, sleeping well. Etc ? As we get closer to the holidays the pain will certainly intensify. I believe Dan has a younger daughter in college also who has to persevere in life without her mother's guidance. Dans only hobbies seem to be college footballl and rock and roll. He should consider taking a class to get his mind off his personal life.

Dan has his faith, his family and his friends. He will be fine if given some time. Knowing his wife's long fight I am sure that in her own way she made sure that he knew anything she thought he was lacking. My husband was sick for many years. Towards the end the talks he felt were needed he made sure we had. Since his passing I have been surprised at times by things I did without thinking. He had me doing "men's chores" at his side and i was shocked when the knowledge was there when I needed it. All of us have the potential to survive alone if we wish. We move forward in our own way when we are ready.
