How does QVC continue to rave about an item that has so many negative reviews, some items that even could be called defective. I'm speaking particularly of the Bliss Hammocks Anti-gravity chairs that don't lock in place. And some QVC customers don't seem to know that they can return a defective item and not pay return shipping. I received two of them and neither of them locked. A lot of other customers had the same issue, yet QVC continues to sell them

Funny - I was just looking over some of my purchases - and I too bought the ""rocking"" Bliss chair and returned it. I clicked on the item now and it says it's sold out. I highly doubt that ... too many complaints and returns would be more like it - I think they just stopped selling it.

I am glad I read this thread...I have thought about purchasing those Bliss chairs but have not read any reviews.....what a pain to have to repack and send back....but I surely would if the lock is a problem....
I have heard many Host sell other products that I have read bad reviews on...I wonder how they feel standing up there touting how great it is....knowing full well the product is not...

My neighbors have 2 of them and really like them. Had no problems at all. They said those that had problems with locking it in place were probably going about it wrong and once you know how they work fine.
I have bought items that had some really bad reviews that are some of my favorite items. Also, most don't really bother to review items unless they absolutely don't like the product or really like it thus more bad reviews on items that really don't deserve it. Just like on these boards - some wouldn't be satisfied with much of anything and are hard to please. Give them a gold bar and they will complain it isn't shiny enough!!

Hi circles...
I have found that if you post a thread asking an opinion on the forums in the appropriate category you get more honest opinions rather than even relying on the reviews.
There have been SOME instances where a product got poor reviews and before it was presented again, the reviews were mysteriously deleted and the item mysteriously got a new item number even though there were no upgrades and it was the same exact item. And if you had the item in your order status under your Account, the one with the bad reviews, if you click it, it says item no longer available....I found that very interesting. There was a thread about this a while back. You will get some difference of opinion but you usually get the pros and cons to make an informed decision as to whether to purchase it or not. That is one great benefit of having these forums.

This comment is to Pook: I'm not an idiot and I'm pretty sure it's not rocket science to push the locks down on the Bliss chairs. Why don't you read the reviews and see what others are saying before making such a generalized statement? ( Item # M28793 for your information.)

If you effectively read my post you would see I never made a generalized statement - this is what my neighbors said - not me. I also don't take too much stock in reviews as I have found that if I want something I buy it and judge for myself as I have loved so many products that had more bad reviews than good. I stand by my post. There may have been some that had problems like the ones you got but apparently not all are bad. There probably are more that work than don't as usually only the ones dissatisfied take the time to post. Also there were probably many different manufacturing dates so probably not all are bad.

When I first used it one of them was a little stiff and hard to press into position but as I used it, it loosened up and now it's fine. It's a very simple mechanism but many people are apparently too stupid to figure it out.How does QVC continue to rave about an item that has so many negative reviews, some items that even could be called defective. To Kachina624: "" yes I guess your solution is to call all of us who got defective chairs stupid. Hope that made your day.""
