So I know this is a pet peeve of mine, but the hosts talk for a living, so someone should be telling them when they mispronounce words. I really like Ali, but on Q2 tonight, she has repeatedly mispronounced pointelle, saying pon-tell (like pon-toon).  The correct pronounciation is poin-tell (like poin-ter).  She had multiple pointelle items on her show, and it was like fingernails on a chalkboard every time she mispronounced it. Channel changed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow!😂 There are many things in life that I find annoying🥰, but thankfully word pronunciation is not one of them.😁

@Cee Cee.  You could always go to her Facebook page and point out the error of her ways.

@Cee Cee  For me it is the constant use of "literally" in a way that makes it quite obvious the speaker has no idea what the word means.

I am a bilingual individual who has studied many of the Romance languages, among other language families.

Honestly, it hurts my ears to hear French words pronounced with an American or English accent.  I would never say POYN-TELL, I would always think PWAHN-TELL.

Of course, I cannot abide TOE-LEE-DO, Ohio, nor ROH-DEE-OH,... and the list goes on.

You should hear my local newscasters if you think the QVC hosts are bad.
