It's ridiculous what the Q is trying to do: throw the spaghetti against the wall and see whatever sticks. They must really be failing if they are sinking this low....

I really couldn't believe it when I first saw that there was a show that's actually called "Menopause Monday." I mean it seemed like a SNL sketch or something! Have never watched. I also don't watch the "Over 50 and Fabulous" stuff. Just my opinion, of course, but I find the whole campaign (or whatever they call it) condescending and silly. That being said, if it helps someone to watch, I'm glad. Just not my cup of tea. I'm 57 years old, for reference.

This is totally ridiculous and demeaning. If you're going through menopause, just shop and it will work wonders. What knucklehead came up with this idea???

Simply not necessary and I personally am offended and find it demeaning and condescending on how they market to women and their health.

@RescueLover Very hard to believe. Apparently her doctor wasn't one of the "best". I think most women know what's going on and don't need QVC's advice . What kind of "funding" do we need? Our periods stop and we may or may not get hot flashes.

@Junebug54 Ummm, funding for research and treatment. My hot flashes were so severe they interfered with every aspect of my life, occurring every 10 minutes or so. If there were parity in research we would see as many treatments for women with menopause as we do for men with ED.🙄
Finally, after trying a course of low dose anti-depressants (off label for hot flashes), a friend told me about a new drug. Not my doctor, a friend. Of course it is not accepted by most insurance carriers, so my husband was willing to pay $1200 for a 30 day supply just so I could sleep at night. Thankfully, the drug company is offering a plan for patients whose insurance doesn't cover it.
The stigma surrounding all aspects of women's health is often worse than the realworld consequences, especially when that stigma is perpetuated by women.
