Has anybody ever ordere meat?  How is it shipped?  Our temperatures are already way up there and I am concerned about the meat spoiling before it gets here.

@TW I have many times and NEVER have had a problem.  The meat I have received has always arrived frozen.

Thank you.  I wish they would mention shipping in their presentations.

@TW, I have ordered rastelli and omaha (I think) steaks and Heartland chicken, and they always come in a styrofoam box with dry ice. I have never had a problem, they're always frozen and we have never been disapointed.

Awesome.  Thanks.  I was concerned because they never mention shipping in their presentations.  We will have upper nineties already.

I would never order meat unless I know how it's shipped. Even if it's shipped UPS I would hesitate because my UPS delivery is almost always after 6 pm so it's been sitting in a hot truck for over 12 hours. I belong to a couple of wine clubs and I suspend shipments until October. I live in Arizona so no deliveries of any type of perishable foods from late April until October. I don't care how well it's packed in dry ice or whatever.

@TW   We have ordered the Rastelli hamburgers often.  They arrive quickly in dry ice. I always track the shipment so I  know exactly when it will arrive.  We have our mail and packages delivered to a UPS store so as soon as I get confirmation that the package has arrived I go pick it up. Even though the dry ice is gone, the burgers are totally frozen.

Hopefully customers have enough sense to know meat is not going to sit unfrozen in a hot truck all day.  Of course it's going to be shipped frozen in dry ice.

We have ordered meat from QVC and Omaha Staks and from KC Steaks and a few other places. The meat comes frozen and it is usually in dry ice that might have a bit left or may already have been evaporated.

When 95 degrees is the low and 115 is the high I don't care how well they are frozen and packed with dry ice. If my UPS driver would somehow be able to get his butt to my door sometime before 8 pm maybe I would order but I don't want food sitting sitting in a truck for that long.
