@homedecor1 , unless you live in the northeast!  We are not permitted in any store without a mask.  No matter your age either.  I've seen so many people enter a store and high tail it right back to their car to retrieve their mask.  Who would have ever thought?

I live in Northern California and the only store that requires a mask be worn is CostCo.

Maybe where you are people have stopped wearing masks, but in many other places masks will continue to be a thing for the rest of the year. 

Always shocking to hear people moving on like the virus just disapearred because everyone got bored with it ... "that ship has sailed".  We all need to get back to some new kind of normal while going back out in the world safely, definitely do not need to stay at home forever, but this constant thinking that this is all over is just ignorant. 

Yes, the virus has a higher death rate in the elderly, but even in younger and middle aged people it leaves lasting health implications (such as scarred lungs, etc.), so this isn't just about age.  Just think about this stat ... 10% of diabetic patients die within a week of being diagnosed with Covid, irrespective of their ages.

Yes sadly many people think it's over and are disregarding wearing masks and social distancing.  In my state they are relaxing the rules of who may open and who may not.  The businesses that are allowed to open all require the wearing of masks and I am totally ok with that.  You are correct, tho the virus is affecting many elderly it is also targeting all ages, it does not discriminate.

There are many products sold here at the Q that are plentiful elsewhere at better values. This will not stop ppl from buying here and placing orders with the additional shipping & handling plus the tax . Often this makes the item much more expensive then the price listed in the box on the screen. In addition to the very long wait time for packages to arrive. Websites have free ship and 2 day shipping everywhere. ????? Go figure
