Definitely a better look.   It's about time she rid herself of that longer hair.  Women over a certain age should either cut their hair or wear it up if they insist on wearing it long.

@rms1954   I don't agree I think it depends .   Some women look better in long hair , some in short depending on the women's  features etc.  or just there preference.  I've had both very short , pixie cut and very long .   Age has  nothing to do with it .   I have long now and do wear it up at times and down other times.

@rms1954  Wow. I strongly disagree.  The Q-tip look is not mandatory at a certain age. I love long hair and lots of volume.

NOT true. There are many older women who look GREAT with long hair. Some short hair styles look masculine.

I think if long hair is a younger lady's style it makes someone look older.  It points up they aren't young.  Like too young clothing.

She always looks nice.  Kind of looks like a wig to me.  I know she has thick hair though.  

Did she say she got it cut?

ETA:  Yes, I saw her say on FB she got a "big time haircut".  Looks nice Mary Beth.
