Mary Beth on ITKWD

I work M-F during the day. I dont get to see host Mary Beth Roe on QVC main channel much anymore.

Watching her on In the Kitchen with David show today. She is doing a 4 hour show and reminding me why she is one of the best hosts in my opinion, still, after over 35 years even.

She asks the vendors REALLY good questions and her own comments are SMART, knowlegable and appropriate and she remains kind, sweet-voiced, clear and engaging.

Im going to miss this woman when she retires and those that train under her hopefully know what a gift to QVC she is.

Mary Beth is a nice, fresh change but 4 hours is too long for a cooking show. I got bored and left.

I thought Sunday was part of fashion weekend. Why do we have a cooking show anyway?

@LizzieInSRQ I've don't think any side-kick host is ever needed. David always refers to them as his "mentees." Rachel Ellis and Chelsea Phillips Reid host many, many hours solo on QVC 2. They don't need to be anyone's mentee.

Mary Beth can handle 4 solo hours because she's a true pro. She doesn't need the duo tap dance QVC calls entertainment.
