She said she wanted to go in August but the Q asked her to stay til March. Probably so she can train new ones. You can usually tell the ones she has trained, because they are like her. Articulate, always describes the item well, does not talk over the vendor and does not act like a 4th grader.

@Kathyfobo   Mary Beth trains all the new hosts.  They have all said so, nothing has changed.

They are different because they are also encouraged to be themselves.  No one can train someone to be exactly the same personality as they are.

Mary Beth did not train the most recent new hires though.

Mary D’Angeles trained TJ (he left the Q)

Amy Stran trained Melissa McGoff.

And I think Jennifer Coffey trained Chelsea Phillips Reid.

I tuned in to hear her announcement. She seems happy and I am glad for her. Mary Beth is a true lady...always enjoyed her when I watched.

@RescueLover   They are their mentors, not trainer.  Each new host has a mentor.   Jane is Steve's mentor.  Kerstin was assigned a new host as well, I believe Nancy.  Etc.

@BalletBabe - I saw that same interview on You Tube. It was good. You could tell then, with the sale of their large house, that she was getting ready to retire. She also mentioned that she didn't know how much longer she would stay.

I wish her well and of course a very happy and  long retirement.  I only hope that the incentive to delay her departure was worth more to her than her happiness,  Life happens!
