MBR was just fabulous last night. She looked great and she seemed very happy. She was engaging and funny. Those 2 hours are hard on a host to jump from one catagory to another and constantly be on your game. She has proved she still has it and will continue to deliver. I'm glad there is a long transition for her to retire. QVC will definately miss her kind and gentle manner. Those are some big shoes to fill that QVC currently doesn't have. She brings class and elegance to any program and has remained steadfast in her beliefs and convictions in a world that pushes to conform. I wish her the best and for the upcoming months we will enjoy her while we still can.

Mary Beth has always been my favorite host. Glad to know I can still watch her for awhile.

Good for her, in my case I don't think I'd stay on that much longer for them once I made my decision. Wonder if they offered her a substantial bonus to stay on? I figured this would be coming soon and I bet there are several who will follow her lead. Regardless, I wish her the best as she is an excellent host.

Mary Beth still handles the new host training. I would think QVC wants to make sure they have someone else to fill that role also. So it's not just filling her hosting duties they must've been extremely concerned about.

I watched her annoucement. You can tell she is really ready, that is wonderful!

She said she originally planned to retire in August, but QVC convinced her to stay until March of 2025.

Shows how valuable she is to them. I am so happy for her, these 8 months will fly by.....

I don’t see MBR too frequently as she doesn’t present the products I am interested in but when I have seen her, she’s very professional, pleasant & thorough. I imagine they want the new crop of hosts to be more experienced & maybe mentored by her. Plus Jen will be out or with a reduced schedule, Nancy is out, it seems, indefinitely & there are vacations.
It's obvious she loved her job & has good relationships with upper management. For her to announce 9 months in advance is not unusual. I worked a year after I submitted my retirement announcement & was requested to remain on with a very nice incentive.
