Re: Make a prediction please

They need to stop using duct tape  to repair their antiquated website.... FIX IT

and improve their shipping speeds

.....also  be more competitive  with their overall  prices and shipping costs

Re: Make a prediction please

I have gotten great prices at the after Thanksgiving and Christmas sales online at B&M stores.  If I need to return an item I just run over to the mall and return it for free.

@santorini   You know I can make a mean meatball   (Italian)   I believe I could teach David a new Happy Dance being that I am a dance instructor.   We could call it  Meatballs and the Happy Dancers.   Yes Dancers.  I would have to add more people for the chorus line effect in some shows.

Wow, people here have such interesting careers!

Not related, but I have a real crush on a male dancer from the Ukraine.  Have seen him dance twice.

@Drythe     That is cool.   I love David.  I would have a ball with him.

@Drythe   I was a very lucky girl.   I started when I was 3 and my mom tookme somewhere kinda like a audition, and they said don't take her out.    When I was  little , I heard Kenny Rodgers on a show and he said "Do what you love to do and you will never work a day in your life.  That is what I did the rest of my life.

In the Kitchen has become a pathetic lineup of retreads paraded out over and over and over and over, packaged food, and cheap gadgets that are junky.

Re: Make a prediction please

Moving shows and hosts around, and adding new hosts, might be interesting for a week or two.   QVC won't keep me watching unless they add some new products and brands.  I'm predicting it will be the same old, same old with higher prices and shipping costs as the year passes.  I've gotten bored with QVC in 2018 and have been shopping more in stores and finding better deals.

Discounts and price incentives for long-time customers sure would be appreciated, but I know that won't happen.

[ Edited ]

Almost nothing gets better for the buyers over time.  Products are constantly cheapened to increase profit, never to the benefit of consumers. For examples, Appliances are made to break sooner, in clothing long-lasting cotton is replaced with cheap polyester, fragrances and skincare are diluted.  It’s kinda Maddening. Same goes for shopping channels, I predict higher shipping rates and less service...  Sorry to sound like a downer, but you asked!

I predict that I will be even less tempted to purchase items.

Re: Make a prediction please

I think they will spend most of the next year trying to sort out the HSN merger (or takeover).  What will each network look like, what is the audience they're trying to reach, which products need to be exclusive and which do well on both, etc.

I buy less clothing than I used to but much of this is because I'm not yoyo-ing in weight anymore and don't need either a new "skinny" or "fat" wardrobe, depending of whether I'm down or up in weight.

I see they're trying lots of different new hosts.  I don't buy stuff because of the hosts although if I really don't like a particular host, I won't watch a given show unless I'm really, really, really, looking for something from that vendor.  OTOH, I watched Jeanne Bice's shows for years--I really liked her--but she died years before I ever bought anything from Quacker Factory.
