@LaurenCats4 ...... Unless QVC does a poll no one knows who is in the majority or minority in this discussion.
qvc knows what is selling and when it is selling.
this show may pull in good numbers in regards to sales and good numbers in regards to facebook and other social interactions. bottom line though is if there are good sales numbers, then it is working.

@LaurenCats4 .....There is a database in whether or not people like the term "Fri-Yah"? David isn't the only one that has that in the title of the show

@sunshine45 ..... The thread is about the use of "Fri-Yah". I was not talking about what show has the most sales, etc. The poll comment referred to whether the majority of the people "loved" the use of the word and whether the ones that didn't were a minority.
I hope what you said is true and that David's show does all that you said. But ...... the bottom line is ........ one show ...... one host ....... will not and can not save a company.

i am not talking about a poll. i am talking about a decision.
it isnt about one show or one host of course. whether the company needs saving remains to be seen.
i am talking about the success of A show called FRI-YAY and whether or not the name of the show, the sales, and the host have something to do with why they keep the name that some of you dont approve of or care for.
i would say the same thing about PM STYLE or AM STYLE or ITKWD or any other show name that they have kept. when the name gets stale or the sales drop, i am sure there will be a new name or redesign.

I remember when they used to say “T.G.I.F.” Do they still say that? It means the same thing, but l like it better!

Do you mean the show T.G.I.F. on QVC? It was a weekly show on Friday evenings from May to July 2007 on QVC with David Venable and Sharon Faetsch. It was a sampler of QVC items including a preview of the weekend's TSVs and Hot Picks, and Summer Surprise offers. I liked that show better than Fri-Yay.

@banned again : No, l don’t remember that show. It sounds like it was a good idea, but since it only lasted a few months, l guess it wasn’t too successful.

That's true, but that concept got tweaked into what QVC called Q Check from 2008-2017 and is now called Deals on the Daily.
