Brook's Ghost is  🔥!  Marathons, triathlon, touring Euro...

[ Edited ]

@chessylady   Brook's Ghost is  🔥!  Marathons, triathlon, touring Europe in Brook's Ghost...both my husband and I are dedicated fans of this shoe.  Supportive, consistent over the years, stable, comfortable, reliable even under stressful conditions.  Anyone requiring shoes under demanding conditions or having foot/balance issues... you might want to try on a pair. And I don't need a shoehorn, I just slip my food into the shoe (we have special laces on them for sports, that helps too). You will know right away if you have found your GOAT.

Re: MARTHA STEWART SKECHERS LINE

Re:  Martha and Snoop...I get their relationship.  They are both high profile and independently wealthy.  They seem to enjoy each other's company...they can relax with one another, not have to be concern about what does this person need/want from me or be "on' concerned about what they say/look/or act.  They can let loose and just enjoy their time together.  Good for them.

I would never purchase anything she is selling or her name is associated with!  Never!

I hope they fit better than the 3 pair of the Skechers Slip-Ins TSV I purchased.  I wore one pair and I have horrible blisters on top of both feet.  Wish I could return them but past that date.  Anybody interested in buying 3 pair, one pair worn once, 2 pair never worn?

Same. I got sucked into the TSV Skechers slip-in offer.  Wore them once to work and talk about OUCH!  Now I'm stuck with $70 sneakers that I can't wear because it's too late to send them back.

Re: MARTHA STEWART SKECHERS LINE

I bought a pair of the new slip ins and can wear them with lightweight socks--tried bare footed and got a huge blister on one heel---so thought I wasted my $$ but this time the socks worked. Am not someone to go bare foot in any shoe anyway.

And really--I won't pay alot of $$ for anyones endorsement of something just because they endorsed it. Martha looks pretty good but really is a horrible guest--and the host was not a good match to her either--JMO. of course.

My thanks to all of you that remarked about blisters from the shoes. You helped save me from buying the shoes and getting blisters too.

I hope some of you write reviews about this.

Re: MARTHA STEWART SKECHERS LINE

It all depends on the persons feet. I have a few pairs with the bungee cords and have no problem with them. Easy off, easy on. Guess I'm just lucky.

I wear Sketchers Arch Fit for a high arch/ metatarsal issue as recommended by my podiatrist. They are close to $100 a pair for many styles so not cheap for my budget but very comfortable.

@redbird  these were also recommended to my brother-in-law who plays tennis 4 or 5 times a week. He bought 2 pairs so he rotates them. He said they are the most confortable shoes.

I think it was a brilliant ploy by an ad agency to portray them (complete opposites) as "Lifelong Buddies"

They go along with the charade, because it's a lucrative "partnership" for both of them.

I seriously doubt that Martha invites Snoop on vacations or to her parties on Martha's Vineyard and vice versa (LOL) Smiley Tongue
