I know that there have been many threads about high s/h costs, but I am outraged and need to vent. Here's my story: I ordered 4 Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadows, all at the same time. Each eyeshadow was sent to me packaged separately, which I was aware of when ordering. The s/h for the first package of eyeshadow was $5.22 and for the three other packages I was charged $2.61 each. So far, so good, though I have no idea why all four eyeshadows couldn't have been sent out in one package. Anyway, I decided to return 2 of them since the colors looked different than those of the swatches online. When I went to repackage them, I noticed that if I used the Q return label (where the Q deducts the s/h charges from the refund price) I would have been charged $6.95 per package! Instead of doing this, I chose to put the two eyeshadows in one package and bring it to the post office and pay s/h charges upfront. The package of two eyeshadows weighed a total of .44 ounces and cost me $2.05 to send back.
I'd really like to know how QVC justifies this ..... it is a major rip-off!
Thanks for indulging me the opportunity to rant .... I feel better now.
